Years ago, the Lord told me, “Neither expect nor desire any big thing, but make your work perfect.” It took me several years to realize that I can make nothing any more perfect than I am, and when I realized that fact, I became excited to think that in commanding me to make my work perfect, God was making me a promise that He would perfect me so that I could do it! No man’s work is any more perfect than he is.
