I pray that I will, as Uncle Joe said, bear the reproach and not be one. I listened to “The Attitude of a Servant” sermon again this week, and I found something that the Lord spoke to me in a meeting in 1995 when I was praying to be a “good servant.” This is what He told me:
“My servants are not cowards.
My servants are not slothful.
My servants are not wasteful.
My servants are not ashamed.”
Reasonable standards for serving in the name of our Lord Jesus. :)
I believe it, Sandy. I believe that was the word of the Lord to you. May God give me, and all of us, grace not to be cowardly, nor slothful, nor wasteful, nor ashamed.
