Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach. For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.
Select a thought to read by choosing a collection, the month, and then the day:
Here are two things that I have learned in my life, and they apply to every human who has ever lived.
First, I have learned that for every evil deed done, there awaits a regret somewhere down life’s road. Any wrong thing you have ever done, you will regret, sooner or later. And the more God loves you, the sooner you regret it.
Secondly, I have learned that for every good and right thing done, there awaits, somewhere along our pathway, a thankfulness that we did it. And the longer you live, the more thankfulness you feel.
Live so that your future holds good feelings in store. The feeling of gratitude to God for helping you make right choices and doing right things is precious. There is not much you can experience in this world that is more pleasant and desirable than having such feelings waiting for you in your future.
