Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach. For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

Good Morning,
Recently, I listened to a CD from your Old testament class in April of 2004 on the Kings of Judah. You were talking about Israel and Solomon. I typed just a little section of some of the wonderful things you said:
“There is no wisdom or counsel or understanding against the Lord. Solomon said that. All the wisdom God gave him wasn’t wisdom ‘against the Lord’ ”. All that wisdom didn’t make him so wise that he could disobey God and escape the results. God is still in charge. We still reap what we sow, no matter what God does for us. What we want to happen if we’re friends of God is this: we want God to reap what He’s sown and we want God to get some fruit out of what He’s given us. We want to do unto Him what He’s done unto us. That’s the love of God; it’s making God feel good. Be glad.
We read in Genesis, Chapter 6, that it repented God that He had ever made man. I’ve had to wonder as God began to teach me the truth; I’ve had to wonder if He’s ever felt like repenting for what He sent His son through, if He has ever wished He hadn’t done it. I wonder how we have made God feel sometimes. We don’t want God to repent for giving us the holy Ghost. We want to use it, let it bear fruit in us, so God will be happy about it. He sowed a good thing in us. The holy Ghost is a good thing. He ought to get something good back. We owe Him something good. We owe him love. We owe God joy.
I know you have taught us this before but the things of God are always fresh and new. The truth never gets old, it keeps getting better as we understand it more, and that comes from having our very own experiences with God. It is so precious of Him to think enough of us to give us experiences.
Thank you for the message. Just thought I would pass it on back to you because it meant so much to me.
