Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach. For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

From a Gospel Tract Written by Preacher Clark.
The holy Spirit is an invisible treasure of peace and joy. Paul said, “We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” The “earthen vessels” to which Paul referred are our natural bodies.
The treasure is eternal, even if our vessels are not. What a precious thought, that long after our earthen vessels are broken and decayed, our treasure will remain with us. And beyond that, when Jesus returns, he will bring us new “vessels”, glorified, eternal bodies in which we will keep our invisible treasure from God forever!
