Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach. For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

A lot of people waste a lot of time rebuking the Devil. We regularly see it on television, and it is commonplace in many Christian churches. It is highly unlikely, however, that the Devil pays much attention to that. If you really want to overcome Satan, then just overcome the world. If you overcome the world, then you have already overcome Satan because he is a part of it. He was cast down to the world when God purged heaven (Rev. 12:9), and he is still here.
But how do we overcome the world? John told us: “Everyone who is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. Who is it who overcomes the world except he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1Jn. 5:4-5). We don’t have to slay a bunch of dragons to enter into eternal life; we need only believe that Jesus has already overcome both the Dragon and this world where he works.
The Bible says that the saints overcome the world “through the blood of the Lamb and through the word of their testimony” (Rev. 12:11). This is the way we overcome Satan as well. He can do nothing against a living testimony or the blood of Christ. Keep testifying, and stay hidden in the blood. There is no power anywhere that is able to overwhelm you when such is your manner of life.
