Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.  Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.  For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

Not The Beginning

In spite of what we have often heard from Christians, the way of Christ Jesus that is recorded in the New Testament is not the beginning of their religion, Christianity; rather, it is a way of life in the holy Ghost that Christianity has historically opposed with all its worldly power; and it will continue to oppose the true faith until that Whore and her “daughters” are destroyed.

The spiritual life described in the book of Acts has no home in any Christian sect, and never has. Jesus did not come to start the religion of Christianity; he came to suffer and die to make the power and purity of the holy Ghost available to sinful men. But that power is a threat to all of man’s ways of worship, including the way of Christianity, and that is why they all oppose the truth when it is revealed and deny the power when it is demonstrated.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that what you are seeing when you read the New Testament books is the early form of Christianity. It is not. The early form of Christianity is found in the Roman and Greek religious ceremonies and traditions and in the ceremonial rituals of Old Testament Israel. What you see when you read the New Testament is the precious faith of Christ that the demons of Christianity fear and abhor, “and few there be that find it”.
