Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.  Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.  For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

The Root of Our Problems

The following is an excerpt from an email I recently wrote to Brother Gary and sent to everyone who attends the prayer meetings in my house:

Gary:

After hearing those CDs of meetings from many years ago, I told Barbara and others with whom I was talking that I didn’t even feel like I was living right. God help us! What a spirit of zeal and holiness I felt in those testimonies and preaching! I know that nothing is perfect but what is perfect. May God help us not to settle for anything less than the perfection of Christ.

Most of the problems and “issues” people have are only the natural result of self-willed ignorance and a lack of devotion to Jesus. In the Spirit of God, there are no such problems as many people have, and if we stay in the Spirit, we will not have them. If we want our problems to be solved, probably the first thing we should do is to repent for having those problems to start with and then get our minds back on God, where there is nothing but righteousness, peace, and joy!
