Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.  Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.  For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

Prayer Meeting Notes from Rebekah, Part Fifteen:
You Have To Sin?

“About four years ago, I put a piece of notebook paper in my Bible on which to write down things said during the meetings that really stood out to me.”
Rebekah Joy

“No man of God has ever said, ‘You have to sin.’”

Just look it up in the Bible – anywhere in there. God has never sent any man or woman to tell His people, “You are doomed to live contrary to my will.” Just the opposite is true. Every messenger ever sent by God to deal with the issue has condemned God’s people for failing to obey Him. Now, what kind of God would He be, if, knowing that people must sin everyday, would condemn them for doing so?

No, God has never sent a man to say to His people, “It’s OK. I know you can’t help it. You have to sin.”
