Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach. For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

One time, after dealing with a certain situation, the Lord gave me this odd little poem concerning the relationship between a weak-spirited man with a strong-willed wife:
It is a very great blessing for each of us, men and women and children, to find our place in God's kingdom, to occupy it with joy, and be content with it. "Godliness with contentment is great gain." None of us can be happy outside of our God-given place, and when we are out of it, we usually spread our discontent to others around us. God has placed each member in His body as it has pleased Him (1Corinthians 12:18), and the happiest people on earth are those who are also pleased with the place God has given them.
Over the years, several people have asked me how to find out what their places were in the body. At first, I was puzzled by the question, but then, after considering it, I realized that I came to know and to occupy my place in God's kingdom by simply obeying the commandments of God and not worrying about such things. I simply was happy to serve Jesus. God then used me as He saw fit, and I saw from how God used me what my place was. It was that simple, and that is good enough.
So, I tell every person who asks me now, that the way to discover what his or her place is in the kingdom of God is, first, to stay filled with the holy Ghost and stay on fire for Jesus. Next, look around and see how God is using you. That will reveal your place to you.
God alone knows what your place is, and God alone can put you in it. Obey His Spirit, and He will show you who you are and what you are to do.
