Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach. For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

In his sermon, Preacher Clark said, "It is impossible [for any man] to do the things that Jesus sent his disciples to do." My father taught us constantly that no man can do the things that Jesus sends his ministers to do. This is why there are no "false preachers" mentioned in the Bible. Men cannot do what God calls "preaching" without the anointing by God with the holy Ghost. There are "false teachers", to be sure, but no "false preachers". Men can teach falsely without God's anointing; they cannot "preach" at all without it. In the main, what people usually call "preaching" is just "teaching", and almost all of it is false.
None of Jesus' disciples could do what Jesus sent them to do. Some of the things Jesus sent his disciples to do are listed in Matthew 10: "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons." Of themselves, they could do none of these things.
The true ministry of Christ has always been a miraculous one, filled with glory not of earth and marked by works impossible for ordinary men to perform. The truth of Christ is impossible for ordinary, carnal men to teach because it is impossible for ordinary, carnal men to understand or believe the truth that God reveals. Ordinary, carnal men can be trained to teach Baptist doctrine, or Catholic doctrine, or Pentecostal doctrine, or any of the other doctrines of Christianity. They have been invented by carnally-minded men, and can be taught by carnally-minded men, without God's help. But no man can feed the children of God the true Word of God unless he has heard from God Himself. There is nothing in God's kingdom that can be done by godless men. Everything that is of God is done in the Spirit, and outside of the Spirit ("in the flesh"), nothing is done that is truly holy.
Peter said it this way: "If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God. If any man minister, let him do it as of the ability that God giveth, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ" (1Pet. 4:11). No sermon delivered to any congregation at any time or any place on earth glorifies God unless that sermon has been revealed from heaven to that man for those people. No talking is "preaching" unless God has anointed and sent a man to say it. Paul said it: "How can they preach except they be sent?" (Rom. 10:15).
God's called out people are those with faith and power. "These signs shall follow them that believe," said Jesus. "In my name shall they cast out [demons]; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover" (Mk. 16:17-18). Not every member in the body will do all these things, but all these things are done within the body of Christ. The body of Christ cannot of itself do the things that Jesus said it would do any more than a minister can minister God's grace to the saints unless he has been given grace from God to do so and that is only when we function with "the ability that God giveth".
