Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.  Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.  For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

Evilution, Part 3

Awww...reading Bro. Adam’s e-mail made me think of my feelings I was having in my Developmental Biology class (this is a class where we learn how a human being is formed, from day one) the other day. I was sitting there listening as my teacher lectured, vigorously writing down notes with hardly enough time to take in what he was saying. And I stopped for a minute and listened and the thought came to me, “How? How do people ever believe in evolution when they know all of this?”

My teacher was explaining the very intricate design of how all of these hundreds of genes and proteins and cells work together to make our little brains, spines, nerves, etc. The picture of what he said was flashing through my mind, and it’s hard for me to imagine, let alone think that some random thing happened to cause it. Really sometimes, I feel overwhelmed with the thought of how God designed the smallest things for His glory. Telling a tiny cell, with no brain, to do a certain thing so that we are able to have eyes to see, ears to hear, fingers to touch with, it’s just amazing. I just thought I’d share that.

Thank you, Bro. Adam for writing your e-mail! You reminded me of some very good thoughts! :)
