THE LAKE OF FIRE: A TESTIMONY

From Brother Stuart Hiser's Testimony

Hi Pastor John,

Concerning the TFE on 5-01, "The Lake of Fire: Memory", I had a dream in the early 90's about the place you were talking about. I dreamed that I was walking in the city of the new earth, the New Jerusalem, and the feelings of peace and joy and safety were all around me there. Everything was so bright and new and clean! All the homes sparkled and were made of something that looked like marble, maybe jasper. It was beautiful.

As I walked around the city, I came upon a gate that led outside of the city, and the walkway lead outside of the gate. The path was very clean and pure, so I kept walking on outside of the city. As I got outside the gate, I walked a little ways and I noticed something to my left, it was a big bubble in the grass. The grass was so green, greener than I have ever seen before. The bubble was made of glass with gold trim around it, and gold frames up and down the bubble kind of like window frames all over it. As I was looking at the bubble, I started to become overwhelmed with fear and torment and terror like nothing I have ever felt before. I knew that whatever or whoever was in that bubble did not want to be there. It was absolutely awful. I could feel fear and terror just pouring out of that bubble. I knew I did not want to look into it at all; it was bad enough just feeling those feelings coming out from the bubble where I was standing.

Then I heard a voice speaking to me (I say "heard", but it was more like inside of me coming out), "YOU DON'T WANT TO GO THERE. NO ONE WANTS TO BE HERE."

I knew in the dream and know now that I don't want to end up in the Lake of Fire. No one wants to be there; it is real and will be forever and ever. I thank God for the opportunity that He has given me not to end up there. If we follow the Spirit, we won't be there, but we will feel those feelings there when we pass by that dumping ground for the wicked. That fear is clean, and I thank God for the fear of God that he has put in me, and us.
