Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.  Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.  For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

A Made-Up Mind

Preacher Clark taught us that a made-up mind is the victory. Once a person truly makes up his mind as to who it is that he will and will not serve, and what it is that he will and will not do, the biggest spiritual battles are over. Most of the struggles that saints go through are not the result of demons or men attacking them, but are simply the result of them not yet attaining to the made-up mind of Christ. The great prophet Elijah once demanded, “Why halt ye between two opinions?”. And when he did this, he was not speaking to the heathen; he was speaking to God’s own people. Israel’s greatest sufferings came about because their minds were not made up to serve Jehovah. So it is with God’s people today.

Make up your mind, and enjoy the peace of God you have been praying for.
