Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.  Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.  For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

A Letter From A Self-Appointed Apostle: Response 2

Hey there,

Quoting your comment: “PS You know, not too long ago, this ‘apostle’ was released from prison. Have you noticed that young men whom God delivers from prison often bring their old stubborn attitude against being governed with them when they enter into the kingdom of God? I have seen that more than once.”

Aah..yes.. interesting. One of the things for anyone to learn when they become a child of God, is that receiving the holy Ghost is the first day of school and the only way to learn is to humble down and listen. A lot of the reason many become imprisoned in the first place (whether spiritually or physically) is by refusing to do that, refusing to be governed, and it is of God’s mercy that He even considers giving us the holy Ghost to start with. But in God’s kingdom, if you truly want to be saved and want what God has for you, you will realize your need of His help and submit to His authority and to the authority of the ones God has placed over you, (especially those in the Lord) and be thankful for the opportunity to change. It wasn’t our idea to be delivered from sin, and God is wanting to deliver us from all our bad situations and habits, but we have to stay humble, not just start out that way. It really is that simple. Otherwise, you will remain stubborn and rebellious and fall out of the way.
